Thks, So the tachs will work on a 2stroke if it's hooked up (I'll have to look).My bike has the older gasgas one used before the Trailtech so I hope the same is true.I will call the dealer tomorrow to see if he can figure out the part I need for my burnt power wire problem.

That is what the book calls it! My 07 EC 300 ( with lights) burnt off what I think is a 4'' long fusable link that powers my speedo. Does anyone know what to ask for ? --- Do the tachs work on the 2 strokes? My dealer had said 2s don't have a tach , but now I have nothing! thks.:eek:

Congratulations!Hope it works as good as it looks.I might go for one of those if I go 4 stroke next but for now I love my 300! Let us know how it compares to other bikes.;)
