    2007 EC250 $2400 in WI

Dropping again - $1900 I know it is early, but just thinking I priced it a bit high given what you can get for a few more dollars. Nice bike at $1900. Forget to mention that there's a Revloc Dynaring in my garage that I'll throw in too. You could install it, or perhaps make a nifty wall...

    2007 EC250 $2400 in WI

2007 ec250 sold for a song *****SOLD****** Hey all, Geez ... going to regret this, but my riding buddy is out for the season, so perhaps this will force me to upgrade. Here's the ad on cglist. I did not mention that there is a crack in the headlight - still works. I bought the bike from a...

    revloc dyna ring any good?

Thumperflipper - what do you mean by "it depends on where you shim it" - where are you putting the shims? I could not get mine to work with the lever. The other problem was slipping. I would get it shimmed and operating nicely, and then after one or two rides, it would be back to where I...

2005 EC250 in WI cracked engine case - $600 offer

2005 EC250 in WI cracked engine case - SOLD *** SOLD *** Hi all, Not calling this a part out, because I don't have the time for such. The bike has a 300 jug. Runs great, but noticed a crack this spring in the engine case where the swingarm pivot passes through the motor. Bummer...

    Argh!

It is on CGList in Madison, WI. I am going to post it for $600 or offer. I don't want to take the time to part it out, nor take it apart to look to see whether it can be welded. Just a bummer. I thought about it more, and my guess is that the crack has been there a while. I noticed last...

    Argh!

Anyone ever have an engine case crack whether the swingarm pivot passes through? I just noticed a crack on the top on the engine on my 05 EC250. No leaks when sitting, but weeps when ridden. Dang, how the hell did that happen? Bearings are fairly new, and pivot is correctly torqued. Found...

    Countershaft sprocket seal assembly

Thanks PS - It was easy, however, it did not exactly go perfectly and I will get some extra practice soon! The old seal was not set evenly, and I did not seat this one too well, and in my efforts to even it out, it is pushed in a millimeter or so from flush with the engine case. Argh.

    Countershaft sprocket seal assembly

Thanks PS - anyone else want to weigh in? The post I looked at said the second o-ring goes on the shaft. I just got home and have the parts, so I am going to look to see what is logical, but would appreciate any help. Cheers!

    Thoughts on 04 300 ec

A few thoughts - I am on my second EC250 - an 05 with a 300 top end, and an 07 with some nice parts. Subframes are a weakness, but so is the rear brake pedal. I meant to post about it ... but the first thing I would buy for the bike if it does not have one already is the Checkpoint brake...

    Countershaft sprocket seal assembly

Hey all, Sorry to ask a question that's been asked, but can someone explain the order of reassembly for the countershaft seal, sleeve and o-rings? What order should they go in? I know the one o-ring goes inside the sleeve - I am confused as to where the second o-ring seats. Thanks!

    Countershaft sprocket shim

Hmmm - well, not sure it is pressing out necessarily. I just saw that GMP recommended this if you're changing things out. I also heard that people tend to shim it if they are using the iron man sprockets, as they are slightly thinner - at least on the KTMs this is the case. The difference in...

    Countershaft sprocket shim

Presuming the inside to keep the seal tight - which side is typically shimmed to accomplish that?
