Rebuild went well but I had to press the stock crank apart and use a new DRZ400 rod pin and rod bearing. But with some machining you could use the entire DRZ400 crank but the GG one is just different enough that you cannot simply swap them.

On the lower side of the right case there is a dual port oil line with one having a spring and bearing. Which one does the spring and bearing go in and which goes in first, the spring or the bearing?, and it goes in the upper or the lower oil hole??
lost spark, fuel pressure, and timed injection.
tracked it down to my crank position sensor.
the part is discontinued, so I searched on Ebay for Magnetti Morelli crank sensor and just looked for a CPS that looked the same.

The o3 EC400 and the 03 EC450 have the same stroke that being said the cranks are also the same, I do know that the stock bore of the 400 is 90mm and the 450 is 95mm that is all I've been able to find for differences between the two. I just ordered a big bore DRZ400 kit with high compression...

I just traded an old GSX1100F for
a 2003 EC400fse! It was a rattle box in the top end,
turned out to be a dimpled cam chain tensioner
and excessive valve lash (easy fix), it's also got a sacked out
Rear shock! At least I'm a vetted motorcycle tech!
