Thanks again for the reply.....I asked about mechanical issues because of your statement about the 2K-2 stator not changing engine characteristics....I assumed that the 2K-3 may change engine characteristics that needed addressing.

Thanks for the reply Jeff. Does the 2K-3 mod create mechanical issues? Timing or something else....I think I will need to reroute the wires exiting the stator. Can the 2k-1 stator be used for the DC conversion?

Hello all.....I have a 99 EC250 that I would like to add lights,signals,etc.....to it. The previous owner included everything to do so......the problem is I think it has a 2K-1 stator...with no lighting coil??..I have not cut back the wiring harness to confirm but I do not see a yellow or white...
