Nice bikes! It really is great I'm just old and riding hard terrain and need a button in 112 degree heat to survive.

A good friend of mine bought it new, rode it twice and parked it in his garage in late 2011. I bought it from him and spent $3000 customizing it to my liking. One ride on new top end (new Vertex piston, powervalve cleaned, full service, and all jetting issues sorted) and tires, bike has a...
new one took weeks to arrive from spain and immediately broke. i'm gonna try to mechanically fasten them together that's probably why you've seen one with a lock nut through it
recently acquired a very low hour 2010 300 from a good friend that has been stored for several years I estimated had about 25 hours on it. refreshed everything rebuilt carb changed all fluids it ran very well except for a Rich break up from the middle to the top of the power band. it ran very...
Hardest job in a while, might be easier to rebuild an engine if you include the graphics install too. And what of the little rubber grommets holding rear fender to subframe, hmmm? Had to root them out, now what? Thinking something from auto parts store might work....ugh
Thanks I'll use that if the chinese kit amazon could get here tomorrow doesnt work. All I need is the collar, hopefully they will at least get that right.
2010 EC300- long throat screw on top PWK. Lost hold of the throttle return spring and it launched the notched bushing, after hours searching I gave up. I found the part # in the fiche but its not easy to find just that bushing alone online. I'll probably head down to the local bike shop and try...
Ressurected this bike, was in storage for many years and was parked with low hours. Changed all fluids and rode the heck out of it for several months with no issues. Now the clutch lever barely disengages clutch when pulled all the way in, clutch engages with the clutch lever almost at the bar...
Ah, well thats great info thanks. Maybe I can get some of the vibration down by replacing this part. I think I broke it when I loosened the subframe to tilt it a little to get the carb back in, I forgot to loosen the pipe bolts as well DUH!
While checking exhaust mounts on (new to me) bike I noticed this weird isolator mount, its like 2 metal tabs with rubber inserts seperated by a 1/2 inch or so. Is it supposed to be like this or should they be touching/connected? #7
Caught a rock on the bottom of my fork today and looking for a guard that will fit the 48mm sachs, does anyone know what will work? These YZ guards look close but not sure. Don't some Betas have these forks?
