    Another Float Level Question

Bit of a mystery...Could the float itself have a hairline crack? It would sit lower in the fuel if it did, less bouyant Should be able to hear if there is fuel inside it if you give it a shake?

    Pilot jet and jetting

Jakobi, hope youre out of harms way over there m8. Looks truly horrific. Upping the diameter would make him leaner tho? I interpreted his post as looking for a richer setting to compensate for a lower altitude?

    Pilot jet and jetting

Try clip 3 also, this will enrich from 1/16 to 3/4. The NED needle clip 2 would give you a half clip option between NEC 2 & 3 (You said it seemed to run hotter, and bogged on hillclimb, presumably at a partial throttle opening where you are on the needle circuit) A slightly lean needle can feel...

    Air Screw adjustment No Effect

(As mentioned and as usual, its probably the stock needle! 😂again!,but a 38pilot is easily obstructed also,go with a 40/42 but do check/change that needle also as a 40/42 will be worse for burble with the stock NOZH/N1EH)

    Air Screw adjustment No Effect

Hey it is only a 200! Lol But heres a good starting point, pilot 40,main 175,suzuki needle NECH #3,0-500m NZ Needles are $20 NEDH will give you a half clip leaner (#2) or richer (#3) if your altitude/humidity is different

HELP! 07 300 Fresh, but not right

If its recently had a top end, check your coolant level to eliminate any oring issue which might be leaching coolant into the combustion area. Also drain fuel bowl on carb to eliminate condensation/stale fuel if it sat for more than a month or two.Any moisture in the bowl will cause rough...

No top and power and more smoke than usual

You can check it while engine is running if you pull the expansion chamber/exhaust front off, then remove the pv cover and replace front pipe.then start and see what it does when you open the throttle, once it starts to move it should swing fully to the stop.ie.its pretty well either...

    Needle decoding question

Lol he may indeed have a slight jetting problem, but that is great for us in here!! (Plus-every tweak must be thoroughly tested, and the merits discussed over a cold one or two)

    Needle decoding question

Am i the only one wondering...does that much needle knowledge come at the price of a pile of toasted pistons/bores? :D

    What plug to use

240hrs due for 4th piston, fouled 1 denso at beginning with stock needle, switched to NEC/NED needle and NGK plugs, havent had a problem since, but usually i change plug @30/35hrs although i ran 1 for the entire life of the piston no probs (for me thats usually@60-80hrs 200) I do carry a spare on...

Spark plug color good, bad or what?!!

Plug readings are hit and miss,if you tool around trials like and pull plug it will look quite different to a wot hot run plug.Try it...the plug indicates relative to how you were last riding. That said, assuming thats a fair indicator of your typical riding it looks ok,leanish maybe,the...

    Powervalve issue?

NED_ is half clip richer than NEC_ NEDW #2 = 1/2 clip leaner NECW #3 (you) NEDW #3 = 1/2 clip richer Mines a 200(as2 carb 2screw cap) so diff diameter Nech/Nedh but i found i needed the half clip options to get it dialed that little bit sweeter.

    Engine "dies" riding downhill

    2011 EC250 Won't Start After Rebuild

If bike has been down awhile try fresh fuel. Generous use of oil on reassembly can make the initial starting harder too. It may respond differently to how much choke it requires, you may have just flooded it whilst clearing out the startup oil.
