My 2013 was transformed using the N3CJ needle over stock. But I'm a basic trail rider.

Normal. But add dedicated earth wire between battery and starter + updating battery to LIFEP04 battery will help

Not Sure if any help, but lower shock bearing on my 2013 = GE12-PW

Out of interest , did you check the coolant impeller?

Have you looked at MAXXIS IT ?

I've had the cheap ones off Ebay and there fine. If anything , more robust than OEM

not sure if this helps, but on my 2013 i've just fitted dedicated earth wire, and a BCTX7L-FP-S 12V - 160CCA www.bclithiumbatteries.com

Fitted a BCTX7L-FP-S 12V - 160 CCA today. burst into life 1st prod of the button from cold. Not been out on a ride yet, so will see how it performs later. Oh and don't forget you'll need a dedicated charger for it. Biff:D
