The red rear fender I have left isn't as nice as yours...was. It isn't broken. It does have holes for the oem subframe extension.

I haven't been here too long...03/12. Used to visit often. Grandkids & adventure riding dominate these days. I've owned 3 Gassers...still own 2 of them. This site has been, and still is an invaluable source of GasGas specific info. I'm not giving up my Gassers anytime soon, or my other bikes:D

I leave the plate to my 01 300 in a drawer. It's a bigger hassle than it is worth. I just register it ORV.

This essentially my take, on this issue. It's also very reassuring when the "faster/more experienced racer" actually checks to make sure "I'm" not injured, after a spill.

It sounds like the pipe...it is possible that you've cooked some of the "spring" from your pipe springs, and just not holding as they should. Since it's a relatively easy chore, I vote for a top end inspection...just in case.

Just to be clear...I've hiked & biked the bejesus outta Gifford, and I still don't know most of the trail names, and only know the "main" roads by name/number. There's some really cool places in Gifford to see, by DSing. One of my favs is the old Burley Mountain lookout.

Don't know about the bulk of the trails, but a regular group have cleaning, clearing, & riding the southern end. I'll be riding/camping from Blue Lake(the actual lake)...on the big blue Beamer.

About a 2 hr drive, from me. It is awesome to watch the pros fly around that track.

Substitute a black 94-98 KX 250, 'till you locate a yellow replacement.

In my neck of the woods, there's almost nowhere to "legally" ride without one. That would even include private properties. MX is a different story, but for woods riding...better have one.
