We did what GMP suggested, and ground a relief into a cap-head bolt to make the process easier for the long haul. Have two 2011 bikes with the HH shifter, and really like the product, but the allen head bolt is a bad design for the Gasser!

A good alternative to a holding tool is just use an impact gun and leave a couple of the friction disks and plates in the basket when you loosen or tighten the nut. That spins the center nut fast enough that you don't need the tool. Milwaukee Tools makes a nice 18v rechargeable that works like...

Bobt, don't have the suspension back yet, so no info on a "fix" or not. I hadn't noticed a problem prior to sending the shock out, and didn't have any oil or anything visible on it when I took it off. I only had about 4 hours on the bike at that stage anyway, so the problem may not have really...
