So, I take it you drill new holes? Isn't there an issue with de-facing or altering an official license plate? I can easily come up with a way to mount it, I just hesitate because of the need to modify/bend it. Why in the heck don't they make the mounts with holes that fit.

Thanks, I found the OEM P/N right after I posted, should've looked more closely at the brake-parts illustration instead of the wiring illustration.

I could've sworn in the past I found a wiring diagram for my EC300, but I can't find it now. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Wiring diagrams are great to have, but my immediate need is to sort out the existing lights/instruments wiring to get the rear brake light to work.

Finally got around to measuring the rider-sag on my '03 EC300, Ohlins manual says 80+/- 5 mm, mine is like 53mm, so my first question is, is there a way to REDUCE the preload (shorter upper spring mount?) to gain back ~25mm? Since I am not sure mine is a 2002 or 2003, I did some searching on...

Just looked at my owner's manual and saw that there is a range of ignition settings I can try by rotating the stator slightly between 2 (advance & retard?) lines on the cases under the stator cover. I have not ridden this bike more than maybe 10 hrs, but it seems to start easily, idles well...

2025 update: FINALLY got an actual lic plate for my bike, but the links for CPD.direct above are no longer valid. Is there a current source for older GG body parts? BTW, I discovered mine is an '03, not '02 like the OP says.
