yep same thing happended on my 05 gasgas 250 after about 18 months from new , a bit longer than your one lasted , but come on this can't be rocket science can it ? :p

Gmp , l have a 05 ec 250 ,it had the dual cdi on it but no switch , l put a switch on it about a year ago , the sunny mode :eek: feels like the motor has been leaned off a bit , it is a fair bit crisper and has a slight but noticable crack to it , l like using this setting on open courses...

l am looking to fit a pair of pirelli sand tyres to my 05 ec 250 for a up and coming beach race , the standard recomended tyre sizes are 90x90x21 for the front and 140x80x18 for the rear , bearing this in mind will a 80x100x21 for the front and 120x100x18 for the rear fit ,:confused: if any...

the race in question is the weston beach race , so there will be a lot of sand :rolleyes: ,l don't expect any tree roots :p , my thread was a little misleading as the event is more like a hare and hounds event than an enduro , l have been told that the start is completely bonkers a 1000...

l am entering an enduro event that has a lot of sand in it , l've never ridden on sand before :eek: :eek: so any set up tips would be helpful , :D
