    Been many years but have used Celcon in the past for a lot of automated machine parts. I think it is a variation of Delrin. It was more dimensionally stable so it machined better than nylon or Delrin. Nylon is definitely low cost.

    18's sure look to have the right parts.

    I personally think this was smart to do it this way. It lets them leverage a lot of previous know how and testing on a chassis that is quite good. Parts are already in production so many steps of development could be fast tracked. This gives them time to perfect the motor that they know well...
