I haven't owned my 2003 MC250 for a year and a half or better now and while digging in my shop for a set of Harley handlebar risers for a buddy of mine I just stumbled across a couple of parts for my old 2003 GasGas MC250 still in the packages!
I've got a set of Moose 0215-0083 rear wheel...
Trades anyone?
Still have the MC250. Anyone interested in trades for a Dual Sport bike? Like to have something like a 1994 or later Suzuki DR 350 SE...
I will be out of town starting this morning (The 24th) Through Sunday (the 28th) so if I don't reply during those days, I will get back to...
Quite frankly, I love it. It is by far the best riding dirt bike I have ever owned. If I weren't in a position of committing myelf to getting my wife and I completely out of debt I would probably keep it and run it until the wheels fell off.
But, life has put my priorities elsewhere.
2003 model!
This has been an incredible motorcycle and I am really not THAT interested in selling it, but I haven’t been riding this year much and my financial priorities are elsewhere now. I really need to unload it in order to pay some other things off.
I am the second owner of this bike...
I'm personally coming from a KX250 to the GasGas being an off-road guy and I love the GasGas. The clutch has sold it to me more than anything. I'm riding an 03 GG MC250, which is essentially the same bike minus the flywheel weight and electrical. (The GG moto version) I'm in basically the same...
GMP - I'm 6 foot and about 220lbs in full riding gear. (No fat kid jokes....I know, I know.) Springs are likely a little soft for me I'm sure. I ran a Steahly flywheel weight on my KX and I think it did help me out some. There aren't really any rocks around here, but we do have a lot of sand...
Ohlins rear, Marzocchi forks. The G2 throttle wasn't one I had heard suggested before. Does this make the throttle more progressive or faster reacting? I think I would prefer to have it slowed down a bit. This thing responds in a HURRY as it is.
Oh, I agree 100%! I've always said I've never met a bike I could outride. All the cool-guy, go-fast stuff in the world won't fix bad technique. I try to ride as much as possible, although life's schedules doesn't allow it near as often as I would like. I totally admit I've got a lot to learn in...
I have recently acquired an 03 MC250 (Thanks to the members here I know for certain now that it is an 03) and I am looking for suggestions for setting it up for woods riding. I am a C level Endruo/Cross Country rider. I currently ride B level, but that's only because the group I ride with has no...
That's interesting to know. Mine is a 6 speed bike, with a 19" rear wheel, FMF exhaust, and Ohlins/Marzocchi suspension. So far I have to say I love the bike. I put a couple of hours in on it yesterday play riding in the trees and it did great. Climbs anything you stick in front of it. I'm...
I kind of figured that's what the situation was, but I wasn't certain. The other thing I'm a little confused about is if this thing is REALLY an MC250. The VIN Number reads VTREC2500D0138006. So does this mean that this bike is actually an EC with the enduro stuff removed? It has an Ohlins rear...
