Well it has been used and not wrapped in cotton wool. But i have always been pretty anal about cleaning and keeping on top of my maintenance. I suppose it helps that theres not that much mud in WA and most of the time its just washing dust off.

Can i just add my 2 cents worth on LTR jet kits on my 2006 EC300? I had a noticeable splutter on 1/3 throttle in 1st and 2nd, but smooth as in all positions in all the rest of the gears. The LTR kit cleaned that up and mine carburettes perfectly now. Thanks LTR!

With Mooses fitted in my wheels and a steering damper, i hit stuff hard and the front rim is now full of small dents. I have Excels fitted on KTM and have no such worries. When they get so bad to continue, i nice set of black excels will be getting put on.

Baz, i only use BP 98 Ron stuff in my EC300 as it apparently has the least additives of the main producers. Then i use Shell Optimax 95 in my KTM 450. Never had any fuel issues of cleanliness issues with either.

Yeah mine are the same. On refitting the panels they top locator peg will sit in the grommet, but it only lasts one ride and they are right back out. I got over it a long time and just leave them as they are.

Orings are no bother cause we use heaps of different ones at work, including some fancy James Walker hi-temp ones. I 'll suggest the tech trys one of those. Cheers
