Just occured to me that all the dirt bikes I know that there are none from the continent of America .Seems strange that for such a huge place there all nearly imported or do I have this wrong .

About 21 years and god knows how many thousand miles on the road a few hare and hounds and a few mx tracks . These bikes are well built .

What is this pipe on expansion Chamber for . Bought a exhaust cheap NOS hoping it would my 1999 ec 250 . There is a strange pipe coming off it . What is it for .Have never seen anything like it .

Here in Ireland also have a 250 and love it . The trails are fairly rough from the rain never stops raining .

1997 cyclinder to 1999 Did anyone get a definitive answer on this . Found a N.O.S 1999 cyclinder and piston and might chance it for my 1999 . Will let you know if it works out .

Having same problem as above weak spark and only 12 v out of exiter . The specs for ktm ingition state around 40v ac exiter . Have tried coil ecu change so stator must be dodgy even though resitance is ok .
