Also would I notice much going from the 300 down to 250? I've always loved the tractor lugging of the 300 I had.

Yeah currently in clip 2 as you advised and 1.5 turns out. I'm happy, prefer a tad rich provided it doesn't foul my plugs than too lean, and means I can open it up if need be. Should I do a plug chop with the new needle setup to check it's not too lean at the top? And like you say, very very...

Finally got round to installing the new needle. Been pouring with rain here recently and too much else to do. Bike definitely running a whole lot better! What a difference a needle can make! Not as boggy when pulling away from low revs. Doesn't require the throttle held half open to start it...

Btw should I start with middle clip on the needle?
