Did you have to trim and re-tap the GG pivot bolt receiver to accept the WR Pivot bolt or does the WR pivot bolt screw right in?

I am looking for bothe the upper and lower fork clamps and the steering shaft for my 97 EC250. It has the 45mm non inverted zokes. Just noted som cracking in the originals and need to find a replacement. Don't really want to change out the whole front end! 😕 Thanks!

What year are the triple clamps I'm looking for triple clamps for my '97 EC250. It has the 45 Marzochi Magnums on it and I just found cracks in the triple clamps both upper and lower. Are those clamps for inverted or standard 45s? DM

Hi guys I have a 1997 EC 250. Tough to find manual info for it. I'm trying to figure out what size fork seals go in this bike. It has the standard forks (not inverted) 45mm marzochi. Trying to find a shop manual and the seal size so I can get them ordered! Thanks for anyone with any info...

Thanks Neil I got it dismantled, and may have found a source in the ducati bevelled round case forum. Seems they used the same setup and there is a guy who will ship you a re-wound one if you send in your old one.. going to try to contact him and will post what I find out. DM:D

Neil, Thanks for the post! I will take photos and post them. I opened my ignition cover and found the stator is in the outer cover. Never even seen a diagram of this setup. Also looks like the stator is in pretty bad shape. Don't believe the cover has been opened since new. Found trapped water...

No. Didn't know I needed one. :confused: I thought the light would run off of bikes power even though ther ie no battery on this bike

I believe u are correct! I see 2 sets of wires coming out of the stator area. Looks like one is to the ignition and one for accessories! And no I have had a lot of trouble finding a good diagram for anything pre 2001. Thanks for the post. I will check out that diagram and see if it resembles...

Help! Just installed a new Trail Tech X-2 headlight on my 1997 EC250.. It worked great for about 15 seconds then all my lights stopped working. No running lights, no brake lights and no headlights. I happened to be monitoring the voltage input to my Trail Tech Voyager at the time and saw a spike...

I'm due for a new clutch and want to install a Rekluse on my '97 EC250. The model years listed by Rekluse run from '00 to '11. Anyone know if the clutch for the '00 will work on the '97?

Hey anyone know where I can find the tech specs for my 1997 EC250? I have a parts list from a 2000, but can't find any shop manuals that show fork oil volume or level for the 1997. Getting ready to do a rebuild but don't want to start with out the right specs!
