If GasGas won't give them information or bikes to test, they can't do much to report it. My gut feeling is that DR went out to all the manufacturers/US Distributors for bike info, and GG in it's state of flux provided none. Thanks, Gaser and Pat. I talked to Tracy at length today. Super nice guy. In fact, if anyone is looking for a NEW 2006 EC250, he has one at a great price. I'm just not ready to buy new.

Anyone have a gasser in NC/central VA area? I'd really love to take a spin before I decide if the brand is for me. I know Ray G has one up near DC, but I'm trying to stay closer to central NC/VA area for a test ride. thanks! dave

I've seen some nice black plastic frame guards on a few Gasser's, but cant seem to find them to buy anywhere. ??

lots of tight single track in the eastern races, hills and gullies with a few rocks in the west. Average speed of my race does not exceed 20 mph.

And another question: I know GG makes great enduro bikes. How do they stack up in Hare Scrambles? Lots of guys here are on KTM XC-w's, so I'm sure the gassers can hang, but there are no more than 4-5 GasGas bikes at our events, which usually draw 450-500 riders. Those not on orange bikes are on...

when did GG switch from WP to 'zokes? What about the shock...ohlins/sachs? I'm hearing there are lots of configurations, so I guess I'll have to look very carefully at which componenets are installed.

I should have clarified: I am a "fast" C-class hare scramble racer. I say "fast" because I finish in the top 1/4 of my class, but it IS the C race! :) All woods, with the occasional moto just for fun/training. and this pertains ONLY to a 2003 EC250 vs a 2005 KX both in the same good condition.

Ok, this may be a biased forum, but I have seen enough candid responses to feel comfortable asking: I have a chance to get a good deal on an '03 EC250, looks to be in great condition. I have always ridden KXs, and I can get an '05 KX250 for about the same price. I love the KX. Love the motor...
