Not a good idea, a competent dualsport needs to be a four-stroke. If you're just connecting between trails for a mile or two on the ec300, no problem. But the fueling isn't smooth enough for street riding for any significant amount of time. Just go out for a ride. Something like the KTM 500...
The 200 (other than some Six Days models coming) will be going away as this new platform is designed for 250 and bigger (potential larger displacement for 2026).
I vote for a 500cc 2 stroke!

It appears to me to be the same bike we know - frame, plastics, etc. - with the new engine. That's not a bad thing as far as I am concerned, I like the existing platform.
Too bad the photographer doesn't know that the bike has a left side :)

Well, I burned up my starter. My fault. If honesty creates freedom, I must admit that I left a paper towel stuffed in the intake (got excited about getting out on a night ride and hadn't finished my maintenance plan :( I overused the starter getting back to camp.

I would echo this. It's not a "collector bike" in terms of having a lot of added value because of it's age or rarity, unfortunately.
Good "tight trail" bike I've heard, as mentioned above!
