43mm fork part
Hi, I recently got a pair of 43mm wp's off ebay because I needed the compression holder. If you are looking for the lower part (the part that slides into the outer piece,I have the part you need. Actually I have left and right but they're off an'01 ktm(I know I know) mxc 250 so...
hey thanks for the reply berky boy.
i was hoping to find a used piece for cheap but i guess i'll do what i gotta do. does anyone know, will replacing the o-ring and/or the copper washer aid in getting the comp holder tight? Is it normal to be able to turn the comp holder and tube easily(with a...
Merry Chrismas everyone.
I just put new seals in my forks and found the comp adjuster assembly at the bottom of the fork loose. I consulted the WP assembly manual and attempted to tighten it first with a ratchet which didn't work. So then I tried an impact driver(not the smack-it-with-a-hammer...
Hey All,
I love this site. I just got a used rekluse for my 01 xc 200 and I want to buy some (more) tungsten balls. I have 5 but it seems that the hot set-up calls for 10. Any suggestions where I might find them? And how much $ should I expect to pay for them ...
Hey, All,
Is $ 30 what I can expect to pay for a clutch lever for my 01 xc 200 (AJP)?
This is a price from an ebay store. If there is an alternative I'd like to know.
Thanks,
NAT
cut-out
My bike had a semi-similar thing a while back where I would be flying along near wot and then it would cut out just like I was holding the kill switch. It turned out that there was some varnish flakes in the carb bowl that were clogging the main circuit when the needle was far enough...
spring too long?
That's an interesting observation. Does anyone here have a hondamakawasuki with the pwk to compare spring length? If it's different we could get the shorter spring from the japanese bike dealer.

part 2
with the shop vac on you are just trying to get any moist air in there out so move the piston up and down a bit to expose new areas to the suction. Then hopefully you can put it together and start it.
Oh, Make sure you drain the carb bowl, and put the drain plug back too (before you try...
do it soon !
Hi,
I know that you need to get the water out asap before it damages the main bearings( it may be too late.)
There is a drain plug (allen) for the crankcase on the bottom of the engine ahead of the trans drain. Remove it. Remove the air filter as it also probably is flooded...
airhead screw
ya,I forgot to mention that. The air screw was out 3 turns but I gotta say that I couldn't really notice a change from 2 turns out all the way to 3 and a half. I'm thinking of getting a selection of pilots maybe 30ish thru 40?
I love my gasgas anyway...
Hi again,
This time I'm trying to get the low end power to be a bit better than it is. I got the LTR jet kit, and the power valve cover a while back and went riding ,not jetting. My bike runs well enough but it seems soft down low and I rode someone else's xc 200 and it definitely had more...
Hey, All,
My 01 xc 200 has a bad bearing. The lower shock mount position on the funky pivot thing bearing was rusted. I cleaned it up as best I could and regreased it but I know I gotta replace it. Does anyone know if I can buy just that bearing? The rest are still good. If I knew of a stock #...
