    EC 300 Onboard

Here's a clip from a Gas Gas test ride day in Finland this winter. The driver is Juha Laakso. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNP8r-7c7F8 He's pretty fast and they also told they really liked the 300 2-stroke, even the beginners really liked it, said it was easy to ride, didn't really matter if...

    Rut loving front end

I find it hard to believe the tire would be the problem. It seems more like your forks aren't aligned or that something is overtightened or simply done wrong. Otherwise the tire must be defect because I don't think it really matters that much what tire you use. I use both a Pirelli MT 32 on...

Hi! Does anybody know which gas cap (honda, yamaha, ktm...) would fit the Gas Gas, or does any of these match? Thanks

    winter jetting

Hello, what jetting would you suggest for me, the winter in Finland can be pretty harsh, here's been around -20 C lately but I only ride when it is about -10 C (14 Fahrenheit) or warmer. -4F is a little on the cold side :D My current jetting is 40 pilot jet, 182 main and standard needle at...

    2006 vs 2009

Hi Mikael! What kind of riding do you do on your Gas Gas? I have a EC 300, '03 year model and it's wonderful in the woods but when riding at higher speeds it is unstable and the front dives too much, what did you do to your forks and who did it? Thanks, and greetings from Finland aswell! :D

    Marzocchi setup help - 08' EC250

Ok, I didn't have the time this weekend to check the shim stack but I quicly measured the sag settings and they were the following: Front: Static sag: 3.7 cm. Race sag: 6.3 cm. Rear: Statis sag: 3 cm. Race Sag: 8.8 cm. Notice that these settings were measured without any gear on, with the...

    Marzocchi setup help - 08' EC250

I'm running 7.5w oil at 105mm. Used to run with 110mm but this works better against bottoming. Where in the compression valve is the bleed shim? Could try removing that one to see how it feels. Need to measure my preload aswell but I doubt it's even close to 7mm. Gotta check it out this...

    Marzocchi setup help - 08' EC250

Yes, I have seen the spacer on pics, but when I had my fork apart for a seal change all I found underneath the spring was a metal washer about 3mm thick. No preload spacer.. I've got the standard springs in the forks so I thought I might test adding some preload to prevent the front from diving...

    A short video from Finland

Yes it's a pretty nice place to ride, small trails here and there, though no legal trails :( Only thing I miss is some elevation, the landscape is very flat around here :) And a helmet camera would be very nice to have!

    A short video from Finland

Here's a short video of me riding. It's crap but it was made using all the footage I had. :D I'm going to make another longer video also, starring the whole gang :D The texts are written on my native tongue in the local accent so don't try understanding eveything...

    Marzocchi setup help - 08' EC250

Hello, do you guys know if there is supposed to be some kind of preload tubes in the 2003 EC 300 Marzocchi forks? The forks feel kind of mushy and I was wondering if adding some preload would help the front end stay higher in the stroke without being too harsh?
