You are right 5valve. The spines appear fine, but when you run your finger down them you can feel a slight amount of marring from running the old worn out kicker for so long. I ended up globbing on the anti seize and jamming it on there. I tested the removal with a prybar on the swingarm pivot...

I think the splines on the shaft are fine upon further inspection, so I tried lightly filing the leading edge of the splines on the kickstarter. It slipped on maybe a few mm further, barely started on the actual splines (as there is a recess on the inside of the yz kickers before the splines...

2010+ Hammerhead yz250f lever 70-0221-00-60 Hammerhead kickstarter for a yz250f did not fit onto my splines easy enough. Maybe my splines are worn and this is the problem? Has anyone else encountered this issue? It looks like the splines would line up, but they seem a slightly different shape...

I just bought a hammerhead for a yz250f and I'll try to get back to you about fitment. Haven't mocked it up yet.

random update because I'm bored So contacting barnett directly will get you the ec125 rubber dampers, which is what they use in the new basket for the ec300. They were cheap in comparison to others.

random update because I'm bored Drilling the nut-side of the axle was pretty easy and having the triangle stand on the right side is very nice for changing the oil! I hated the gasgas kickstand, but my stand and bracket were pretty mangled anyway, so when the spring broke I just gave up on it...
