I put one from a Honda scooter on my 2011 gasser. Had to swap out the bigger gear but it worked great and was only about $30. There is info here on the forum on how to do it.

Still in Tennessee, still riding, sold my 2011 ec250 which I kept for over a year before deciding I liked my 2018 ec300 enough to let the eleven 250 go. I also picked up an new Honda CRF300L to adventure ride and dual sport on.

If you had not said that you checked the timing I would suspect that the woodruff key sheared on the ignition side of the crank when your motor locked up. You might want to check your timing again.

Why would reiju get top billing? The 250 and 300 reiju bikes were designed and originally built by GasGas so GasGas should get top billing.

I like real GG and Reiju rider

For me the best argument for electric start is arthritis in my right knee caused by 56 years of kicking bikes that didn't have e-start.

I have an older wheel that is true but one of the bearings fits in loosely. Not sure how to fix that. Maybe someone on here has a suggestion. If interested call me at 931-498-5113 I also have a GG 18" rim (old but true) and a new full set of spokes.

ALL THE MOTORS had that hump for a counter balancer (200-300) until they changed the cases in the mid ninety's.
