Could the noise problem be coming from the clutch? I remember one of the recall items was a washer somewhere in the clutch. The dealer I bought my bike from was far from capable so I?m wondering if this never was done and something came loose?

I looked at my water pump impeller. It is fully intact and not loose. I looked at my power valve adjuster, also it is not loose. I did notice some fluid inside and some white greasy stuff, not sure if this is normal or not? The fluid is red, my premix and my tranny oil are both red so not sure...

2018 300 XC. I am most concerned with the pilot screw. I had an extremely fast idle at 1.75 and it did not change as I turned it all the way out to 4. I thought that it would begin to slow again, is this normal?

It is a new issue. I think jetting is good. Sounds to me like i should replace the head o-rings and the water pump shaft seal. Any other parts I need to order along with the pump shaft seal?

Today I looked in the radiator and it looks dry. I added about 1 cup of coolant and it was full again started the bike and I can see that the pump is working. It looks to me like the steam or smoke is coming off the header pipe. Maybe it is just a leak somewhere?

I will check that out. Would that cause overheating?
