I did that as well.Put a teflon coated bronze bush in.I have spent so much time on the starter system & it still won't consistently restart in gear.POS.

Hi,just as a check to make sure the gears are not binding,pull apart the old starter & take the spline out,stick it in the starter hole & turn it by hand.Fairly common to have the bendix bind on the cover or the small gear.

We have a Reiju dealer in NZ? Looking at buying a new bike later in the year & replacing my 2018 XC300.But I might keep as it may be the last carb bike I have. Also went to a Yamaha demo day & really liked the YZ250FX which surprised me.

Had the same thoughts but having a gasgas vedimia or Reiju in NZ will be like having a Betamax video player. Yes to name change.I feel sorry for new gasgas owners that stumble into this site like a possum in a gin trap.

Jim,you forgot it is a badly designed POS system that will fail at some point.

Thanks All, Enduropuro won't ship to NZ. Bottom end Gasket kits are hard to find, may need to purchase from multiple suppliers but have a US supplier who may have all of it.
