    Erzberg prolog run

As other's have said, well done for having a crack!!! Loved the last minute or so when you have the gasser absolutely pinned, hate to think what speeds you were doing at that point. Bloody awesome!!!!

    Showa fork swap complete

I have access to similar forks to swap with my 48mm Sachs on my '10 EC300. Sounds like a bit of mucking around for someone with no machining abilities. Keen to get your thoughts on how it handles compared to your previous forks. Until then, will keep working with my Sachs

    ttx forks

Simmo I have also had my shock (888 Ohlins) re gassed twice now and think it needs doing again:mad::mad:. Was told a new shock or bladder conversion was the long term fix. Might just bite the bullet and get ttx both front and rear.

Interested to know your findings Jakobi!! I can't get my sachs to work no matter what I do so may venture down the ttx road myself.

My either Crazy or that knocking /pinging is BAD...

+1. I put some foam between my skid plate to deaden the vibrating noise. Also check radiator protectors (if running them) as the brace rods can loosen or break at one end (as mine did) and make a similar rattle noise from vibration.

Looking for a new hydration backpack

For a trail ride I think these vests are fantastic. They distribute the weight well over your shoulders (not your back like most hydration packs do) and it allows you to carry a stack of tools / supplies on the ride. Yep it does weigh a bit when you are tooled up, but you just don't seem to...

    2011 Ohlins Shock

Yep also happened to me at the 40hr mark. Feel it is a good investment to get suspension serviced every 12mths max, depending on type or riding (trail / racing)

Gas Gas ec 300 poor power

Check you did not dislodge your float needle (rocket ship looking thing) that sits in a brass sleeve behind the float.

    Revised Jetting Specs NEDW

No mate left the MJ @ 178. I can see that the N3EJ may wear you out more than the linear power of the NEDW but there is something about the snap up top that I am really loving at the moment. Perhaps the NEDW would be handy in the real sloppy stuff so will keep it for a rainy day.

    Tallarook Xmas Ride

Went for a xmas braap with blokes from another Australian dirtbike forum website. Was a good day, can't believe how dry it is - bring back the slop I say. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlXIIfb2ZqE

    Revised Jetting Specs NEDW

I tried the NEDW yesterday (comparing to the N3EJ that I was stoked with) and only kept it in for 30mins. To me it was too linear (almost 4 strokey) and lacked a bit up top. Put the N3EJ back in and it validated my thoughts, my jetting is spot on with this needle. I had recently removed all of...

    Parts from TrialEnduroDirect?

I had ordered the S3 head and inserts from TrialsEnduroDirect. They didn't list the anodized gold on the site (only red) but I sent them an email and they went to S3 to see if they could source. They advised they could get, all good. Took a couple of weeks to arrive in Oz but couldn't be...
