    Not sure what the noise is, but the pv arm lock nut was backed out all the way on my ?18 EC250 after about 10 hrs. Whip the pipe off & have a gander behind the rhs pv cover to be sure.

    Mine went down to TSP twice as well. Also, after you rip the 5mm thick gasket, check the retainer nut on the PV actuator rod thingy - mine had backed out all the way down the thread.

    Before & after, squish 2.25mm stock, 1.35mm now. Jake, your compression will be in the mid-high 15?s if you shave a mm off and do nothing else. Ping & run-on almost guaranteed.

    2018 ec250 jetting help!!

    Leelee, I had shit jetting for 6 months - until I got my head cut. Lowered squish (1.35mm) & reshaped the bowl to keep comp at 13.5/1. Now, 42p/175m, NEDW #2, a/s 1.5, Motul 710 in 98RON. Tech s/t & rocks, 17c today. Bike is smooth, quiet & super-tractable. More low/mid power. Same bonkers...

    Ha ha, classic! My Freeride 250 2-t hated starting from brand new. No kicker. I sold it at 5hrs, utter shitbox - $52AUD for a shock mount bolt. Sorry, rant over :)
