I've got the same bike and mine only ever ticks over on the odd occasion. Very temperamental in that respect. I gave up trying to get it to tick over weeks ago and just blip or hold the throttle whenever I'm at a standstill. A pain in the arse but I've gotten used to it.

my messico pipe had a crack round the rear mount. hhad the old man weld it up straight over the plating so no need to sand the plating off to get a decent weld.

I've got an '02 ec250 supermoto and recently bought an '03-onwards fmf fatty front pipe. And the exhaust mount on the stinger's too tall for the rubber mount on the frame. is it just a case of ordering '03 exhaust mounts or did they modify the frame that year? another problem arising from this...
