    Australian Dealers

Is there a Gas Gas Presence in Australia anymore? I can't find any dealers in Queensland at least. I've been buying parts through OnlineRacingSpares but they told me they've cut ties with GG. Cheers Dan

Technical Bulletin - Crank and Flywheel Nut

I still haven't gotten around to checking the crank as when i checked the flywheel nut i noticed the 2 bearings on the starter shafts were crappy. With Only 20 hrs they were dry as  so went with sealed units. 608 and 61902 bearings

    Rear Brake Strength

The pedal didn't feel spongy so I hadn't bled them. I did just then though as it takes zero effort and there could be a slightly firmer feel from the lever. I'll report back once I go for a ride.

    Rear Brake Strength

Does anyone else feel the power of the rear brake on their 18/19 EC to be a bit under gunned. It takes a fair bit of foot force to lock up which is both good and bad. The pads appear to be bedded evenly. I'm leaning towards throwing some sintered metal pads in and seeing if i like them better.

    GP300 head onto EC/XC

Has anyone been lucky enough to compare a 18/19 GP300 head to a EC/XC? Failing that, how do the GP vs EC/XC compare riding back to back power wise, is it noticeable?

Debris (wire) In First Oil Change

Just bolted at the bottom and ball and socket at the top with this clip to secure the socket.

Debris (wire) In First Oil Change

Can confirm that it was a powervalve linkage pin. However, it was not the one that was installed onto my powervalve.... It's still in place. Further to this the one that was in place wasn't installed correctly!!! If you've got the exhaust off I'd recommend popping the cover off and checking...

Debris (wire) In First Oil Change

I think you might be onto it. ME72326GG-CEQ-1 the security clip looks like a likely candidate. The importer has been forwarded my photos so we'll see what they come up with.

Debris (wire) In First Oil Change

I definitely will be calling the dealer when they are open again. Difficult to say but I think it's all there. I have both ends it's just the middle section that's unknown. After starring at it for a while, it looks awfully like a wrist pin retaining clip to me.
