Well guys, looks like i'm out for the count, i pulled my bicep tendon on sunday, and will be going in for surgery thursday morning, the doc says i will be down for 3 months, this sucks!!!! i was really looking forward to this ride, but i guess i will have to make next years ride instead...

You can use the honda cr stuff, same steering stem length, the honda bearing race is too small to fit the gasser, but suzuki race fits, and they both use the same bearing, i use the twin chamber showa forks from the suzuki, but to do that i have to machine the bottom clamp, there is a standoff...

From my experience the cables aren't real tight in the boot, and the factory cables are a bit short, there used to be a longer one available from motion pro, and go-fasters carried them, but i dont know if they do anymore. I always cut my bars down to 30 inches, so for me it was not a big deal...

If you get an airbox from a 98-01 gasgas, then you can use the side panels from a 94-98 kx, that is what i did to my 02 xc 300, i hate the side access airbox, it always comes open while riding.
