They are hanguard mounts for sure. I know the guy that used to make those triple clamps. They bolt to the pinch bolts on the top triple clamp then the hand guard bolts to the angled part.

I've used the same P3 guard on a 2011 and 2012 with no problem.

I have tried a 49 and a 50 in all types of terrain. For me the 50 makes 1st and most of second gear useless. It actually causes me to shift more. The 49 is just weird, I could never find the right gear. On top of that, in an enduro situation the 50 makes long two track or road transfer sections...

I used the Ti Yamaha pegs a couple times a few years back when I rode blue bikes. Be careful what you hit with them because they don't give and bend like a a steel peg. They snap right off and will leave you with little to no peg to finish the day.

Ill second Clay on this, mine is left however it comes form the factory and there isn't even a small sign of a problem. In fact there is very, very few thing I do to my bike at all that deviates from stock.
