    Quick throttle bog

    SO trying to get the carb set. WHen its running, all sounds/feels good. When blipping the throttle fast, getting a big bog. Have to roll throttle to avoid. Do i need bigger Pilot or move needle up 1? Have a 42 in there now and needle is middle, air screw is at 2 1/8 turns out.

    more info. This is on a 2019 XC 250, I bought the bike last Sept. 1st ride was a cool morning and tough to start, about 10+ kicks. When running all seemed fine, but only rode for 45 mins. Next ride was about 2 weeks later and much warmer, about 8 kicks or so, run good but was muddy and slick...

    Just 1st start of the day. Once warmed up its a couple kicks. I'll try the air screw and see what happens. I have a 45 pilot sitting around. Might throw that in and see what happens too.

    Anyone know what the stock pilot size for 19 XC 250? Have a #40 in there and its tough to kick over, but starts fine with the starter. Has new JD kit in it. Main is 170, needle in middle.

    JD Jetting will probably be your best bet, unless someone knows of something better. Buy the jetting and the rebuild kit AND the Jet block o-ring gasket. You will have to buy some star wrenchs with the little hole in the center (dont remember name of them) from auto parts place if you dont have...

    Only reason i took it apart (top end) is last time i rode it and got into the powerband, i heard a slight knocking i never heard b4. But, from time to time there was something that someone heard and said it sounded like i would need a new wrist pin. So not sure if the noise was play from rod...

    Holy crap.....its an 03 EC250DE. Think i'll look into someone helping me lol. Looks so easy on Utube. The crank has no play up/down, but side to side i can get a 1mm feeler gauge in there, barely. Otherwise the rest of the motor is good, no scratches on cylinder and piston.

    Think it is a DE. No headlight, Ohlins front/rear, 19" rear, wiring into the ignition side is at 10 o'clock position if that means anything.

    Excel site shows it was Husky from 2010-14 or somewhere around those years. Might just have to wait and find something on ebay in a few months. I have NO CLUE how to go about looking for the correct rim AND spokes to lace it up myself.
