My FSR450 has a kill button above the starter button but it is not connected anywhere

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but does the acewell speedo have any sort of backup battery? I took it of the bike, but it is sealed with no sign of battery compartment. On mine FSR it is powered directly from the ignition switch and loses date/time, avg/min/max when the bike is switched off.
