The injector arrived in today's mail. Installed it but will try it out tomorrow. It's the IWP043 which is compatible with IWP162 found on the bike originally. IWP043 has a brown ring. The IWP162 has a white ring. They flow 330 cc/min at 3 bar. 10/18 So far. Each time I try starting the engine...

Thanks. Ordered one off eBay from China. Should be here within a week. Later... Got the Chinese injector. Did not like the way the motor sounded. Decided to send off the original for ultrasonic cleaning at Injector RX in Houston.

Where do you go for non ethanol fuel? I just ordered a new injector for the flame out issues. Seemed like cheap insurance.

Just picked up a 2008 FSR 450. Very clean, i.e. used but not abused. Any thing I need to look out for? For starters I will pull the injector and do a cleaning of it. Is this 2008 version Magneti Marelli or Keihin? Then reinstall the turn signals and horn. Other than that...just ride! John...
