Expansion Chamber Rubbing / Melting Coolant Hose

My 2010 was the same. Just bend the outlet tube on the bottom of the radiator to give some clearance. It's very soft and doesn't take much force. And you really should replace that hose before it lets go.

    GasGas, New Investors

I think that is the unicorn lots of us are waiting for. Can't see it being branded as a 'GasGas'.

    Henty Enduro Hip Pack

Sorry, I don't have any experience with the Henty. As far as hip-belt hydration packs, I use a Scott fanny pack with a 1.5l hydration bladder. It also has storage for tools and miscellaneous items. The bladder isn't huge, but about as big as you will get for a fanny pack. It's a good bag. Just...

    2018

Actually, it's an illegal thing. KTM/Husky Canada is known to force their dealers to sign agreements that prevent them from selling competing Euro dirt bike brands. It's anti-competitive behaviour and wouldn't fly in most other jurisdictions. It would be nice to see the Competition Bureau put an...

    Power Washers

For sure not my proudest moment. I shared my story, cause I thought it might make somebody laugh. Life is a strange deal. Yes, I know stress is bad for me. I'm doing my best to moderate that. I'm pretty tightly wound, so it's a constant struggle to be chill. My ticker is good. I'm only 47...

    Power Washers

I had a cheapo Black & Decker unit that worked good for a couple of years. About a month ago I plugged it in and the circuit breaker on the plug kept tripping. The week before I had used it while it was raining, so I think there was a short somewhere. The next time I used it, I was having a bad...

18's sure look to have the right parts.

They're maxing fuel efficiency for profitability, not emissions reductions. I wonder what emission controls are forced upon commercial aircraft jet engine manufacturers? I suspect none. I'm also curious as to the amount of emissions produced by one 787 transatlantic flight versus a year's...

    Jetting advice

Yes, Jakobi is recommending a 42 pilot jet. The 35 you currently have will be too lean with the NEDJ needle.

    Fork oil weight?

You can try a lighter oil to try and tune out some of the harshness. Might make a difference? Just be aware that not all fork oil weights are the same brand to brand. I think it's important to compare the CST Viscosity to know what you're working with. I'm a nerd, so I made a table awhile back...

    Playing waiting game: GasGas future?

I owned a 2010 GG 300 for 5 years - bought new. I liked the bike, but even with a respring/revalve I struggled with the Sachs suspension. QC was also pretty shoddy. When it was time for a new bike and GG was in the toilet, I bought a 2016 Sherco 300 2t. I have no regrets with the Sherco, it is...

Federal trade agency proposes higher import fees on certain motorcycles

The tariff is applied to the value for duty (VFD) of the imported goods. The VFD is the importer's cost from the vendor, not the retail price when the goods are sold. Assume a bike has a retail price of $10k and the importer's cost is $8K. The 100% duty rate would add $8K to the importer's cost...

    Where to buy clutch rubbers?

If you want to shop in Canada Armin, Mongoose Machine sells Rekluse baskets. http://www.mongoosemachine.com//showproduct.aspx?id=465 Here's the link to the Rekluse page: https://rekluse.com/product/clutch-basket/ I'm sure a FleaBay search of Rekluse part no. RMS-4100 would yield some results...

    Carb boot doesn't fit??

I have not seen a +2010 GG with an airboot that mates to the carb cleanly. I'm thinking that the airboot is a part from a previous airbox/frame configuration from way back that has been recycled on newer models. But it just doesn't fit. Not sure why they kept pushing them out like this? Either...
