I've heard the new little 250 is quite reliable.. It's been out for a year and no big drama's .

I have to say, I rode the 2010 model EC300 and was not impressed with the forks over rough terrain... They say for 2011 there is some changes to the forks... Lets hope they finally sort them out.. I'm not convinced with the Sachs product so far...:rolleyes:

I would remove the screw part on the spark plug again and retest.. You would then be able to tell the difference and know if it was the cause !

GasGas FSR450 2007 model. 5,007kms $6,500 ono ADB winner in class of best motor for 2007. Fuel injected with a slipper clutch standard I have owned the bike from new and it's in very good condition, nothing to spend.. Bike has been fitted with Force Radiator guards, B&B Bash plate and EGO Bark...

That pipe guard looks heavy.. I can see it is made out of steel.. How much does it weigh?

I would be lying if I said I was excited.... They lost their ability to be original..

That was my impression when I test rode one.. I just couldn't get a nice action from it over small rocky trails

I changed my oil after it's first ride. That was around 100kms. I then changed every second ride until 1,000kms... Then every 500kms an oil and filter.. Just use a mineral bike oil on the first change then go semi synthetic.. My bike runs sweet as now.... Never any metal in the oil ...

I rode the 515 when they first came out.. Power is much stronger all throughout the rev range.

Where is the axle sitting on the swingarm ? Is it forward ,middle or towards the rear position.. I fitted a 50T sprocket to a chain I was using a 48T on with no problems..
