Revalved Marzocchi Shiver 45 for plushness.

You sure about that Glenn? Seems to me that with the cross over you are effectively working with a single stack of 22x10 22x10 11x10 19x15 until the .1 is used up and the 19 comes into contact with the 17. Eliminating the crossover I would envision, would support the whole stack from the...

GasGas sales - USA and worldwide

There in lies the key. Trouble with many demos is the bikes aren't set up well and testers get a bad impression. "The big guys" all send factory techs with the bikes for mag testing and demo stuff to make sure someone doesn't get put off if the jetting isn't bang on, or the bars are too far...

    Carb tricks

I'm a hemostat guy too, makes life easy. As for your jetting, it's an interesting experiment to take some "White out" or tape and mark your throttle tube so you can glance down and see where the throttle setting actually is, rather than where you "think" it is. Beware, it's also a humbling...

    MX boots

Stay clear of Oxtars too if you need width. Gaernes are generally nice and wide.

    Base gasket preparation?

I've run mine this way for 2 yrs now with no problem. Still excessive squish but better. I'd definitely suggest a good sealer though as there's little "seal" in that .15 gasket. Just for interest, we used to run racing 80 and 125 MXers with no base gasket, only Hylomar.

    Base gasket preparation?

Hylomar for me...but I run only the .15 gasket :D

I fully agree with you there brother. Bring it on BMW

    What's next?

It's the lack of downtubes on the frame that worries me...those cases look awefully exposed. I can see ripping them off on a rock...or ripping me off after casing a jump  The other issue is the need to remove the swingarm and all to change a front sprocket. The swingarm pivots on the...

    Plug fouling

    1. jetting is very personal. Answers to jetting are like eyebrows (filters prevent using alternate, more appropriate term ;) ). First step is to see what's in there now. Then maybe step down a little on the pilot and needle. Also check the float height. The horizontal mold line on the...

Questions & Thoughts For The Gaser Company

Boom, I think it all comes down to money. You can't "push" without cash...but it's hard to get cash without "push". Comparisons to KTM are obvious, but unfari as they are MUCH better funded.

    Energy supplement

There's a dozen different brand names Speedy. Check any of your local cycling stores. Some grocers and even convenience stores in this area are now carrying them as well. The makers of Powerbar make one of the more popular ones. These do work, but be warned, are nasty sweet...have water at...

    Gas Gas & Bultaco

I admit to being a closet Bultaco admirer. I've never owned one, but just have a sort of soft spot for them. Gonna have me a Sherpa T one of these days. There is one older guy locally here that has a showroom condition Metralla that is still on the road. The thing is beautiful, and oh, so...

    Clip position ?

Go one clip position at a time. Try the #2 position if the middle seems rich (positions count from the top slot down). Yes, a leaner slide will effect a similar opening range. Much like changing needles. Have a read through this
