bottom end bearings have just collapsed on me... :( this bike has been a money pit it is a uk registered ec200 but has been modified on v5 as 125 has about 10 months left on mot new electrics front to back throughout (250watt stator+super capacitors) fully serviced forks brand new maxxis...

There are places all around cylinder that have no nikasil, piston and rings are both fine

Last time I parted the top end on my gasser I noticed the plating was near the end of its life and compression was terrible so I set away sourcing a replacement cylinder. Found one on here so once it arrived I pulled the top end and my god I think I caught it just in time before something...

Hey guys Just purchased a second hand lectron power jet carb off eBay. Carb was taken off a 250 can-am and is stamped 38 but has what looks like a brass collar on the airbox side any ideas? Just wondering if anyone in here can set these things up for me to get the best out of my little ec200...

Never seen anything like that in my carb. Oh dear!!!! Where is it located? Visible when float bowl is removed or deeper in the carb? I've only cleaned the carb and changed slow jet Cheers Ken

Jet block o ring? Have no idea what this is I'll give google a look All the powervalve has been cleaned had the dremel in exhaust port with a wire brush on there so it's all clean. I'm sure it's the carb. Been looking at the lectron carb but there pricey :( Cheers Ken
