I'm rebuilding my 2005 300EC and need to know what the main bearing serial numbers are..I'm finding Gas Gas UK official prices a bit too expensive. If I can find the generic sizes then I can visit a bearing shop??

I've had a 46 tooth steel rear on my moto for almost 2yrs(just took it off due to hooking)...in that time I've gone thru' 2 front sprockets(turning them too) and 2 o ring chains...not bad for riding every week in both enduros,forest practice and the odd beach race..

I've ridden with one of these gear levers for about 2 years now and have had no problems.....
The knurled tip is wearing nowadays...I'll buy another as they're OK for price...nothing lasts forever....

All good stuff...I carry my tools much as mentioned though in an old CIF kicthen oval section cleaner bottle with the top cut off. A clean rag stops the tools from coming out. It helps stop the tools rubbing thru the bag in time.With this I can also wrap duct tape around it which means I can...

For info...I`ve been using Castrol fully synthetic scooter oil on my bike for the last 6 months with no problems...can buy it in supermarkets anywhere and is dead cheap....I was using Motul 800/Ipone fully synthetic(at 50:1 ie 2%) until I came across the scooter oil,read the API specifications...
For info i was using carbon fibre one stage reeds.......lasted about 2 months before the engine ate them ......still waiting on word from the makers to see what happened...
