Best way to find out if and where you have a air leak is to use starting fluid. Start your bike let it idle, raise the idle screw if you need to too. Start spraying small squirts around the intake boot, carb and airbox. If the idle goes up you know you have a leak. Remember, small short squirts...

Yes, I went to a 40PJ a 170Mj and a ec3h Needle, 2ed clip down. I like it rich down low, it crawls through the technical stuff better. OH and 60:1 full syn Amsoil Intercepter. Thanks, but I put 700 in to it. You should have seen it when I got it.:eek:

Bike has 75 hrs on the piston and soon it'll be time to change it. Does the 250 and the 300 use the same crank and rod? Can I just change the jug and the head? How about the ECU? My search didn't reveal much. :( Thanks for any info.

I bought this from a friend who gave it to his son. When I picked it up from his son he told me it was a Six Days. I talked to my friend tonight and he told me he was looking for a Six Day never found one so he bought this. Just a 2011 ec250 Tanks for pointing that out to me. Now I feel better...

The bike runs great but it's a little high strung for me. In order to tone it down a bit I put some pre-load on the power valve governor and fattened it up by putting a 40 PJ in place of the 38 that was in there and left the 170 jet alone. set the needle, NCEH to 2ed from the top and re-geared...
