Thanks. I think I'll go with the 1/32 gasket. I think it's close nough and I prefer one over multiple layers. No ridges to worry about, but I don't really have a need to alter the performance characteristics.

Just adding to this post as I'm doing my top end as well. It looks like my 04 EC300 has a black and green gasket stock, which I measure to be about .033" which equates to .89mm. I figure it aligns with the .8mm that would be expected if the gaskets were new and I had good measuring skills ;-)...

Seems like you could just inject into the case during the compression stroke. With a fast blast, you could probably get a bigger charge than with reed valves.
