I rode a KTM 300 for awhile. Great bikes, you'll get a lot of haters, of course, but there is something to be said about readily available parts, :)..

Was told by a very knowledgeable unnamed source that it's the High Compression Head that is making it so dramatically different than the EC. :).. SO loving the power, but the throttle needs tamed a touch for my old body. :)

So i started with an EC, that i specifically asked for since I'm almost 50 and not as fast as I used to be. I ended up with a GP300, (long story). And after the factory fixes it's back in my garage and rideable. My question is how to tame the beast? I've been on 4t bikes for awhile, although...

Contact your dealer first and foremost. I know that's not what you want to hear, but i have EXTENSIVE experience with this issue. On an 18 300 EC and an 18 300 GP.
