Both of the wheel hoops on my 2011 300 six days are bent beyond repair. I can't find a listing or part number for the Excel wheel hoop. Can anyone help with this problem? Also another brand that would fit with stock spokes would work too.
I switched from Motorex to Torco 5 wt fork oil in my 45 Zokes and it got harsh and blew through the stroke. I switched back to Motorex and problem solved. Here is a chart to explain why. All 5 wt fork oil viscosity is not even close to each other.
I have been hesitant to post this, but I have ridden it for a month now at this setting and it is great everywhere now! I think the two main keys were tons of rebound shims and I dumped the stock valves and installed hi flow valves from Tecnik in australia. I also lowered the preload to 2mm...
I am not real happy with my FMF Gnarley I replaced my stock pipe with on my 2011 300 sixdays with. It hangs much lower than stock and the power is not as strong. The pipe is now lower than my skid plate.
After trying everything with the stock valves on my 2011 300 six days I scored a valve kit from Teknik for a BMW 450x. The BMw uses the same forks. These valves flow alot more fluid and work much better. I would recomend them to others.I am a 215lb A rider. I would say to make sure you have the...
If you have the stock jetting it can be the problem. My 2011 300 six days hit like a 125 and had dead spots all over. Now I run a n3eh needle (3rd clip) 165 main and 38 pilot at 1000 to 2500 foot. I drop one clip for up to 6500 ft. With jet change I have ran this needle to 13,000ft. This set up...
I love the performance and look of my stainless steel pipe, but I tood a hard hit to it and it bent up and in and dented front and back. I checked into getting a new one but $500+ is abit rich for my bank account. I called Pacific Crest pipe repair and sent it into be repaired but he says he has...
Going back to 7 wt fork oil from 5 wt made all the differance. Now the front end stays planted and almost all the deflection is gone. Apperantly you just can't make 5 wt oil work in these forks. Which brings me to wonder if 10 wt oil would work even better? Has anyone tried 10 wt oil in the 45 Zoke?
I just switched back to 7 wt fork oil from 5 wt to try that. What about just drilling holes in the stock spacers? wouldn't that work as well? why is the new spacer taller?
Interesting hearing about others having shim stacks fall apart on dissasembly. The first time we took mine apart the first stack fell apart and the other was loose. Does anyone from GG factory read these posts? If they do, do they have any feedback or solutions. It seems that the factory could...
