hi im riding a 2005 ec250 in the u.k about 300m to 500m above sea level with 50-1 fuel mix and it was running rich on the pilot circuit, bogging on idle to 1/4 throttle and lots of spooge. i found the best response was with the pilot screw 3 1/2 turns out with a #40 jet. i fitted a #38 pilot jet...

i have just decided to cut open the black expansion chamber that comes with the euro bikes. this has a catalytic converter in to meet emissions regs. the pipe is otherwise identical to the standard exhaust. i thought i would post a pic to help anyone else who wants to do this.

hi does anyone know the correct torque settings for the linkage bolts and lower shock mount on an ec250 2005? the shop manual is pants. thanks for any help.

hi does anyone know the dimensions of the spacer that fits between the two wheel bearings on the sprocket side. its like a big washer. i have ordered one but need it before the two week delivery date. thanks for any info. matt

sorry to be so brief. i would like the bike to be more controlable from closed to half throttle, i find it bogs down in slow technical areas. as far as im aware its got the standard flywheel but i havent had time to check its got the original gas gas exhaust and the carb has 180 main 40 pilot...

hi i have an 05 ec 250 and want to use it mostly for trail riding, what are the best mods for easing the power? i have fitted a trials slow action throttle and found this to help a lot. thanks for any tips matt.
