Yep Greenlandmx and Motocrosscenter are a godsend for NZ - make sure you ask for a custom shipping quote from Mcc, the default basket shipping cost is insane.
I've previously had good shipping price from https://trialendurodirect.com/ but haven't used for a while.
UK shops often use Royal Mail...
Watching this thread with interest as my 07 250 is almost exactly the same.
Only difference is mine will eventually "clear" and get past the spluttery stage and then rips as normal to full revs.
If I keep it at high revs it will stay there, but once back down to putter around speeds it will...
The pads (both front & rear) have been used on just about every Japanese bike at some stage! (ie: super common).
Rear:
CR125 1989-2001
CR250 1989-when they stopped making them probably!
XR250 1988-2004
XR400 all years I think
CR500 ditto
XR600 1991-2008
KX125/250 1995-2008
RM125/250 1996-2008...
YZ one is slightly easier to kick over, and the mechanism that holds it in place (rather than flopping all over the show) is sturdier. Wouldn't bother replacing stock one unless it is worn.
OK - spill the beans! Where were you? (out Oxford way??) and more importantly: private or public land.
Guessing private :(
If you ever get over to the west coast with the bikes there are some cool rides.
Yep, your shin bone is super exposed to getting a good whack (elbow would also be in this category).
One time I forgot my shin guards I didn't even make it out of the car park area before damage! Foot slipped off the kick start and I ran my shin down the footpeg  pain!
Another interesting thing about the freeride 2 stroke is that despite having a lower seat height, it has more groundclearance than the EXC's, so a lot better than a lowered exc would be (plus the lower weight).
I'd quite like a FR/XTrainer as a second bike for super knarly stuff...
There - I...
