I used a DRZ exhaust cam in my 400 after the auto decrompess mechanism dissolved and bent 2 valves for me The Suzuki job fitted and worked ,still couldnt start it on the button though

I ended up buying from a breakers and modifiying a DFRZ 400 one (Slightly longer and cable attached at the wrong point) I built it with the GG end cap and redrilled the 2 mount holes to bolt it up to the engine and it still didnt work although it was an improvement on the old wheezing GG one. I...

A typical problem on a warm engine is the isulation on the igntion coil breaking down not a guarantee but worth a look

Just a thought here going for the "simple is best" approach is there a fuel filter anywhere that should/could do to be changed?

Ok then taken apart and cleaned all electrical connectors to the fuel pump and after a long ride out today I notice that I suffer fuel starvation at the upper end of the revs too - I hate this bike anyone wanna buy another!!!!!!!!

New battery fitted and charged - still the faltering remains , even on overrun when changing down it still "misses a beat" I have had both relays out given them(and the sockets) a good hose down with electrical cleaner and swapped them around just in case Any suggestions??????

I would presume it is to prove that the fuel pump relay is/is not working correctly

Dont know if this is common or if its just me...... After starting the bike and leaving on tickover to warm up ,the engine will repeatedly just cut out for maybe 1/2 a second (perhaps every 5 seconds)which will usually make the engine stall The only way I have found to combat this is to bring up...

I have never had this problem on my gasgas but my Aprilia had a similar problem and as I had to disturb the head gasket to get to the base I am afraid it did involve replacing the head gasket

Fraid I dont have a clue with injectors ecu s and the like I confess to understanding and liking carburetors but if you live anywhere near me you are welcome to try replacing bits of yours with bits of mine to try and fault find I am between Leeds and York if thats any help Regards Dave
