    LTR jetting informaton

Now please excuse my ignorance here folks. I have a LTR jetting kit for my MC250 99. I was sent a kit that included a -0 needle and a 42 slow jet, also a 172 main jet. (Middle position as well) My previous altitude was between 5500 and 6000ft. I don’t want to second guess Les but many of you...

    Tire Balls

I didnt end up going to that race so I couldn't tell you to many specifics. I know its a 525 so it is on the heaver side. I know it was some rocks and no pavement. He is a very agressive rider espcaly because he only weighs like 160. I think it was an instilation problem on his part. Just make...

    Tire Balls

My friend ended up buying them for his KTM and he had real problems with them. He ended up going flat two laps into the race. He was mad. He called up the guys and they stand behind there product. They replaced all the balls and the ruined tire. They told him to send the rim in and they would...

    boiling gas

Okay I just found my jetting information. The main jet is 172 and the slow jet is 42. The clip position I was told to set in the #3 postion (center) but I moved the needle down on notch. (leaner) The air screw as stated earlyer is about 2 or 2 1/4 out. My elevation is between 5000 to 6000 feet...

For the gas... I used amsoil dominator. I used it 50 to 1 ratio. Run on 91 pump gas. In Idaho that the best you get unless you get race gas. As for the air screw it is out 2 and 1/4 turns out. I belive that is what LTR recomended.

    boiling gas

Im not sure of my jetting. I had it calculated by LTR. They sent me the kit that was for my elevation. I dont know if it is running rich or lean. I would guess thats a good thing. I checked my plug and all looks good. As for the float... that may be a posibility. How would I know if it needs to...

    boiling gas

I have noticed that I have more power at the beginning of the trail ride. I do long steep hill climbs and steep descents. On the descents the bike stalls and I have a hard time pop starting the bike. I noticed the power loss because I can do a wheelie when I first start off but by the end of the...

    EC250 '00 transmission in MC250 '05

I have an MC 250 and the four speed drives me NUTS!! I would love to get the six speed. BUT ITS ALL MONEY... Pray that its a six speed. If you gear it down at all your top speed really suffers.
