I'm 99% sure I have everything unbolted. I've tapped on it with a mallet for a while and no movement. I just ordered an external thread flywheel remover kit and it looks like it might have the one I need to push it off.

I measured and it appears to be 29 mm with a 1.5 mm pitch. I cannot seem to find anything doing multiple keyword searches on Amazon and fleabay. See pics attached.

No that diagram is not the same as mine. My left side cover has a threaded innner area. I'll try to take a pic tonight.

This is the plug I'm talking about with the broken clip. Plugs directly into the ECU. Is this the same one you are referring to? If so where should I be looking exactly for bad connection?

Ok thanks for the insight. The clip that holds the ECU to the wiring harness is broke so i zip-tied it together. I'm not sure how to tell if there is a bad connection there still.

Lee do you know if there's a big difference between your 2006 and the 2007 450 models? I think I need a fuel pump as well.

Utah here. Need a new CDI/ECU for a 2007-2008 FSR or FSE 450.

I'm trying to find a United States dealer that actually has parts and or know-how on these bikes. Call the few dealers and they were no help in finding parts for a 2008 SSR 450, nor were they any help in me trying to remap my ECU.
