    6000 Ft Elevation Jetting EC200 PWK AS1

I use this chart when jetting for elevation. http://www.ktm950.info/how/Orange%20Garage/carbs%20and%20FI/Jetting/jet_correction_chart.html It's easy to read and understand.

    36mm carb swap

The AS1 carb is 15mm(front to back) longer, at 91mm in length than the AS2 carb, which is 75mm in length.

fuel & vent pipe hose sizes

I just found out about this deal on OEM 5mm vent hose and thought it was worth posting here. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-95003-07008-60M.html That's enough hose to do a bunch of bikes.

    More aggressive bottom/mid needle recomendation?

You are welcome. I'm glad it's working out for you. What jetting setup are you using ?

    More aggressive bottom/mid needle recomendation?

The leaner slide, when combined with the Suzuki NExx needles really makes the bike very responsive. It doesn't add any low end torque like the Yamaha N3xx needles, it just adds throttle response. I usually will drop down a starting diameter when I use the #8 slide. I will go from an NEDW to an...

    More aggressive bottom/mid needle recomendation?

A Yamaha N3CW duel taper needle will give you a touch more lowend, and provide a more substantial hit into the middle. It doesn't run as clean down low as the Suzuki NExx needles, but it shouldn't be that bad. You'll need a pilot jet 1-2 sizes larger than what you are currently using with the...

    Ec 300 2008

You may actually pick up a little bit down low, but you will lose some throttle response. I bounce back and forth between a #7, a 7.5 custom slide, and a #8 slide, depending on which needle I use. I have never used a #9 slide before though.

fuel & vent pipe hose sizes

I believe the vent hoses are 5mm, and the fuel line is 6mm

2006 EC 200 - Keihin id for standard needle

Any of the Honda needle jets that I would recommend to you are obsolete. A Yamaha/KTM N3EH needle would also be another option. It's a duel taper needle, that will probable need a 1 step richer pilot and main than the Kawasaki needle i sugested...

2006 EC 200 - Keihin id for standard needle

Take another look at that needle you have . I bet it's an N8RW needle, which would make it a duel taper needle with the same taper profile as Yam/KTM N3EW needle, but 1/2 richer and a full clip richer than the N3CW version. The 4th letter on all of the OEM's Keihin needles have the same...

NEDW - where can I get me one?

The needle jet dictates what pilot and main jets you will use. What needle are you looking to try other than the NEDW? It just to lean for you. Because the CCL needle is a straight taper, it requires more fuel at the beginning and end than the multi taper needles, like the Suzuki NExx or the...

NEDW - where can I get me one?

Sorry about the jumbled mess of a post above, but for some reason I couldn't fix anything, because it was erasing words as I tried to fix them. I would recommend that you start out using a CCL needle in the #4 clip with a 50 pilot and a 185 main. Set the air screw 2 turns out to start. You may...

NEDW - where can I get me one?

I have an 07'Honda cr125 that I have converted over to a 38mm Keihin pwk, from the 38mm Mikuni that was the oem carb on the bike. I tried a bunch of needles and jetting combos trying to dial the bike in. The Suzuki needles worked just as you would think by smoothing the power out, but it made...

Diameter of the straight part of the needle.

You're using a large pilot jet for that needle. For your 250 you should be in the 42 range. That Kawasaki N3xx needle jet series transitions into the middle quicker and harder than the Suzuki NExx needles. They are not as smooth as the NExx needles.

    Recommend me a needle :)

No, The leanest version of that profile is an N82x, which is 1/2 clip position leaner than the N89x. Unfortunately the leanest starting diameter I could find was a K, so that isn't of much use to you. The N89G is, I believe still available though through Kawasaki...
