Anyone know the thread and pitch of the drain plug? Has anyone replaced it with another plug that wasnt a hex head? I am looking at maybe using a oil temp sensor that replaces the plug but dunno if it will work.
So while cleaning my chain, I took off the front sprocket cover and guard and on the guard it says 13T on it, I looked in the parts book and see nothing in it about any other size. Also the guard it in the roller grove and acts like another guide for the chain. So Unless I find a 14T one or...
I called a place the other day the guy answers (must be like a manager or something) we talk and I start explaining what I am looking for when his subordinate comes in and he starts talking to him and berating him for not being there and answering the phone and how its his first and foremost job...
Hmm well I dont have a axle nut to torque..I replaced it with axle sliders.
So I loosened both pinch bolts and tightened it down but the axle didnt pull flush with the fork leg but it was tight, didnt use the torque wrench but will prob do it next time. But it wasnt moving.
So I tightened...
When its tightened down should the brake side of the axle be flush with the outer part of the fork leg or just pulled tight until there are no gaps in the spacers etc.
The service manual online doesnt say just says torque specs.
So I have heard that people are using a different dipstick because the speedo cable dipstick will fall off into the frame..what are you guys using? Making up something on your own?
